Trick Tastic

So today I am a proud little woofer because I learnt a new trick. I already knew how to give my paw and had learnt my other paw. But today I learnt how to run rings around mummy!
Daddies ipad won't let me upload the video to here so I'm afraid I will have to put in a link. But please take a look and maybe take the time to like my page :)

Short Post. Long Walk

So mummy took me for a long walk to the beach when the weather was a bit nicer the other day, I just want to show off the pictures now. She let me swim around and get wet, which I was never aloud to do in my old "home".....not that I could of because I wasn't taken out!

Mummy says we will be friends forever

Straight Out Of Death Row
Hi, my name is Max. On Facebook I have a page under Maxy-Moo Muller Rice. I am a rescue dog who has finally found my forever home (after four attempts). I am a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, although my mummy isn't sure if I am crossed with anything or just underfed. Currently we are trying to put some weight on my bones.
I lived in a house before with a lady who used to shut me in a cage while she went and sat round her next door neighbours house, she would listen to me cry and howl for hours and not care. When mummy rescued me, she was told that I liked to sleep in the cage because that's what I was used to, but when she put me in the cage that night, I cried and cried so much I couldn't breathe. So ever since then I have slept in the bed with mummy and daddy.
Before mummy and daddy got me, I had been given a week to find a home, or I was going to be put to sleep....I like sleep, but people around me kept saying it like it was a bad thing. Like I wouldn't wake up again. I'm glad that didn't happen as I am so happy where I am now.
This picture is the first one that was taken of me on the day I moved in and ever since that day I have been growing with confidence and learning tricks. I have also learnt that I can be loved and I won't be hurt. Although I do still shy away if someone raises their hand over the top of my head to quickly. Mummy says I just need to be brave and that feeling will go one day.
Since living with mummy and daddy, I have been out for walks which I never used to get and have put some muscle and some weight on, I have been swimming....I love the sea. I could swim for hours if you would let me.
Mummy takes me everywhere, I get to socialise constantly and we are starting to work on recall. It may have only been a few months, but to me it's starting to feel like I have been here a life time.
Mummy and Daddy say it's all smiles from here!

This is my story, and it will carrry on thanks to my forever friends. Please think of rescuing dogs when your thinking of getting one. Remember we are forever and not just until you get bored. And remember that for my breed, it's the owner not the dog that's bad.
And for all you staffie owners out there....remember
And

Oh and this ones important to...

And please feel free to share your rescue stories. We all love a happy ending.
